In the past few weeks I have talked to many people about waiting. I have met people who wait for someone or something. I have met people who are waiting for the universe to forge a path for them. I have met people who refuse to wait (who seize the day, so to speak). I know that I have been in all of these places; lost and found, strong and mighty, confident in my convictions and doubting all of them at the same time.
Anyways, started writing a little something inspired by these talks that will hopefully make its way to the band back in North Carolina. Perhaps this December we will pump it up and funk it out. But for now, it is sloppy and drawn out and I think you can hear my metronome in the background.
Usually I keep this stuff hidden but I thought I’d throw it out into cyber space this time. Hope you all enjoy!
